File contains a map printed on linen of South Africa and an accompanying poem by Rudyard Kipling entitled The Absent Minded Beggar which had been set to music by Arthur Sullivan.

File contains a newspaper article of March 31, 1960 concerning the presentation of a medal to the Hastings County Historical Society on behalf of Major G. Franklin Lynn, former Belleville resident, who served in the Canadian Contingent in the South African [Boer] War. The medal, of which Major Lynn was one of the recipients, was originally presented to Belleville members of the Contingent by the Belleville City Council in 1901.

Eighteen photographs and one photocopy of the interior and exterior of the steam plant (building 27) at CFB Trenton. Ross Masters (the donor's father) worked at the plant.
