Earl Wheeler records

Fonds consists of records pertaining to Earl Gilbert Wheeler of the 13th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery, Canadian Expeditionary Force. The folders are composed of personal letters to Gunner Wheeler's friends and family written while he was stationed at various posts throughout World War I. It also includes financial documents, educational certificates and other professional and personal papers. In addition to these records, documents containing correspondence about his injury, the search for his whereabouts, as well as his death certificate.

Photographs include: Ezra Holton (1810-1879) and Lucy Clement Holton (1811-1883) [c. 1850] two images of "Grandfather Holton's homestead, 1873?, Belleville, Ontario" - with various Holton family members identified three photographs of Sir Mackenzie Bowell (one signed, one where he has a dark beard and is holding a sword) a collage of photographs of Sir John Johnson's Cabinet Ministers, including Mackenzie Bowell, c.1893 a pair of horses with a cart laden with cut lumber and five men: a man in a suit stands in the foreground, with three more men in the rear a studio portrait of Charles Phillip Holton (1849-1908), wearing a medal, c.1905 postcard showing the Armouries, Belleville, Ontario, with ranks of soldiers outside. One has an x beneath him, with a note saying "your brother in 1913". The postcard was mailed to Lucy E. Holton in Bermuda in 1923 photograph of the Bridge Street Church Orchestra, 1922 flyer for a Grand Concert of the Bridge Street Church Orchestra, held on 19 May 1922 at 8.15. George Harold Holton was the Director "Georgina Waltzes" sheet music, composed by George Harold Holton for his future wife, Minnie Georgina Wilson, published by the George Taberg Music Company of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1898 business card for the Holton Lumber Company, with Sir Mackenzie Bowell and G. H. Holton's names on it unidentified young man, taken by Clarke of Belleville

Deed and photograph

Deed conveying "Lot number three, Randolph Place" to Caroline Bowell Holton by Ezra William Holton and his wife Lucy Clement Holton for one dollar on 28 July 1876. There is a plan of the lots of the four Randolph Place properties on the back of the deed.
