File contains manuscript and typescript copies of correspondence sent and received by Col. W. N. Ponton concerning the development of hydroelectric power on the Trent River. Also contains correspondence regarding the proposed electrification of the Belleville waterworks by the Trenton Electric and Water Company.

File contains three typsecript pages by C.S. Chard concerning the first school house in Stirling, ca. 1820s, and an account of a wooden pump shop which operated near Stirling from 1875 to 1887.

File contains a manuscript statement of damages submitted by Addi Stickle to the Provincial Government in 1845 for the loss of time and of crops as a result of being called upon to testify at the “trial of prisoners” in May, 1838.

File contains a manuscript statement of losses submitted by Peter Lott to the Provincial Government for damages resulting from imprisonment for eleven weeks and five days at Fort Henry in 1838.

File contains a manuscript claim submitted to the Provincial Government by Joseph Ketcheson ca. 1845 for time served as a special constable during 1837.
