Minute book of the Canadian Order of Foresters, Court Quinte No. 1. The fraternal society met in Deseronto, Ontario. The minutes record applications for membership of the society, payments of bills and notes of people who addressed the group. There are some loose papers inside the volume, mainly applications for admission, with reports of character committees on the back.
This file contains a letter written by Henry K. Smith; the first Fish and Game Warden of Hastings County. The letter, an attestation of oath acknowledging his duty to office and community.
File contains a copy of a union agreement between the Contractors: the Sash Door and Blind Manufacturers and the Members of the Carpenters and Joiners Union No. 161; this agreement is for within the Belleville city limits and limits a work day to 9 hours and a half holiday on Saturday.

Limited", miscellaneous materials copied from original documents including newspaper clippings from 1954; pages 62-66 of the Canadian Fuel Marketer ca. 1878-1978 issues; Weaver Liquifuels pages 55-60, 2 envelopes of negatives, and 110 photographs of various everyday operations at the Bill Schuster Coal and Lumber Company, as well as photographs of Bill Schuster and possibly his family. One is an aerial photograph of the site of the company.

Two letters from Kennet Blackwell, Assistant Locomotive Superintendent at Belleville Station, dated November 15th and December 14th, 1876, concerning grievances of engineers and recommending their dismissal and the weakening of their union, the Brotherhood of the Grand Trunk Engineers and asking for instructions in the case of the men organizing a strike.
