Photograph album of Stuart Hilton Plante's time as a member of the Royal Flying Corps/Royal Air Force stationed at Camp Mohawk near Deseronto, Ontario.

A red and white quilt made in 1894 by the Steady Gleaners, a group of women affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer, Deseronto, Ontario, possibly with the aim of raising funds for missionary work. This quilt may have been made for such a purpose. The signatures of the women in the society are embroidered onto the squares of the quilt.

This copy was made in 1972 of plan #27, as registered in the Hastings Land Registry Office.

Scanned copy of a photograph of Dr. Joan Bronskill (1924-1978), who spent most of her career as an entomologist at the Entomological Research Institute in Belleville, Ontario. She was well known for her support of the arts in Belleville, being a founder of the Quinte Ballet School, a member of the Belleville Theatre Guild, and a charter member of the Quinte Arts Council.

A certified reproduction of the "Plan of part of Lots # 1 & 2, Concession 1 Thurlow, Part of the Commercial Bank Plan. Resubdivided by owners Maria Murney and Nathaniel Baldwin Falkiner." Some of the lot owners are named along the south side of Charlotte Street: George Ritchie Lot # 28, Lt. Col. Campbell and Jacob Wilson Lot # 28. Surveyed by John D. Evans, P.L.S., and signed October 15, 1872.

Certificate for 300 shares in the Trenton Electric and Water Company Limited in the name of Henry M. Pellatt.

Printed illustrated card with poem entitled 'The Union Jack'. The card was produced as a souvenir of the raising of the British flag on No. 3 School House, Octavia Street, Belleville on Tuesday 24 May 1892, Queen Victoria's 73rd birthday. "With Compliments of the 'Old Belleville Rifle Co.' (No. 1 Co., 49th Battalion, Hastings Rifles)."

Parchment-covered paper book containing accounts of Robert Shann, flax dresser of Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England, from 1836 to 1838. The volume also contains the will of Robert Shann, in which he leaves his estate to be divided equally between his borther and sister, Christopher and Jane Shann. The executor was George Elwood, shoemaker and the will was dated 2 June 1827. The will was witnessed by William Jennings, John Turnbull and Rob Butterfield. There are also some botanical and biological notes, a poem, and sketches of buildings and boats.

Later additions relate to activities in the Belleville area by George Simpson, for customers such as Robert Sharp, Jonas A. Canniff, Robert Pitts and William Naylor between 1863 and 1864.

The file contains a photocopy of the original Royal Letter dated 15 September 1856, granting permission by Queen Victoria to J.W. Dunbar Moodie of Hastings County to establish a Public Fair and Mart in the Village of Shannonville.
