A map showing, primarily, the depth of the Moira River within Belleville, Ontario. Together with a written report, it proposed a channel to the New Ferry Slip. Major streets and some lots are also labelled. By John D. Evans, P.L.S. on April 28, 1881 or 1887. Scale: 66 feet : 1". Note the interesting colouring at dimmed edges.

Reproduction made in 1976 of an 1875 map of the Belleville Harbour in Bay of Quinte. The map features major streets, buildings and depth readings of travelled waters. Surveyed by F. M. Hamel, C.E. Drawn by J. M. Faga. Scale: 1:6000.

The fonds consists of 633 photographs, 23 negatives, letters, sympathy cards, business cards, newspaper clippings, genealogy and family history and a few business papers belonging to the Smith family, primarily Frank Smith of Madoc. The photographs found in this fonds mainly depict the area around Madoc, with some from Bancroft, Maynooth and other places in Hastings County. A large number of the photographs were taken on vacation or while travelling through Canada and the United States. The photographs were taken in Florida, Atlantic City, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Healy Falls, Shaw Falls, Coppercliffe, Ottawa, Port Carling, Gaspe, Napanee, Madoc, Bancroft, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick.

The families primarily depicted in the photographs are the Smith family, McCaw family, Swayne family and Cassidy family. Many of the photographs have names and places written on the back of them. Other people mentioned on the photographs include: Jean Phillips Thompson, Mary Smith Barton, Aunt Vera, Muriel Smith, George Wright, Hugh Pepper, Frank Smith, Frank and Jane Packer Ingersoll, Elizabeth Baker, Martin Porter, Kay Seaton, Helen Whycock, Bessie Woods, Tom Ross, Jack and Ann Yonkers.

There are 3 letters from Henry and Eliza Smith between 1872 and 1874; a birth certificate for Frank Smith, news clippings on the Smith and McCaw families and events in Madoc. There are also family trees and other genealogical information connecting the Smith, McCaw and other families. Much of the information appears to have been gathered by Mary Elizabeth Barton (born Smith: lived from 1921 to 2017).

A "Map of the Dominion of Canada and Newfoundland" published by the Copp Clark Co. Ltd. of Toronto in 1945.

The map served dual commercial and educational purposes. It advertises for a chocolate company with slogans and images: "Neilson's, The best chocolate bars in Canada [and] Neilson's Jersey milk chocolate - The best milk chocolate made." On the top right corner, an inscription writes that the map was for rural, underprivileged schools and was not to be removed from such locations.

Scanned copies of two photographs (one a reproduction of a printed photograph) showing the Belleville General Hospital float in the Coronation Day parade in Belleville, Ontario, held on 2 June 1953. The float won second prize in the parade. On the float are nurses Joyce Lott (later Foster), Gwen Hart, Anne Crabbe and Doreen Dorland, with doctors McGreer, Winfield and Barfoot, staged as though performing an operation.

1972 copy of an 1837 plan of 'Diseronca' (now Deseronto, Ontario), surveyed by G.J. Clapp on August 26th, 1837. The plan is Plan 43 of the plans registered in the Hastings County Registry.

The north-south streets shown on the right side of the map are, from right to left, First Street, Second Street, Third Street and Fourth Street. Near the end of Fourth Street a wharf is marked on the map. This is Culbertson's Wharf.

Letters written by members of the Little and King families of Tyendinaga Township and Fulton, New York. Includes some family history information, a postcard of Stirling and a photograph of Edith Roulston, taken in 1960.
