Biographical history
Agnes Marie Chambers was born in Stirling in 1933, the child of William Henry Chambers and Jennie Rebecca Wright. She worked for Bell Telephone and Canadian General Electric and married Bob Glenn in 1952. After having two daughters, Agnes went back to school and on to university where she attained a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Education, followed later by a PhD. She worked as a teacher and department head in secondary schools and colleges.
