Five reports and six accompanying plans prepared by Gore & Storrie, consulting engineers of Toronto, relating to improvements to the water and sewerage system in and around the City of Belleville.
These volumes were compiled by the Historic Structures Committee of the Hastings County Historical Society in 1978 and 1983. They contain photographs and descriptions of some of the older buildings in Belleville, Ontario.
Colour photographs of the Norris Whitney bridge under construction between Rossmore and Belleville, Ontario and aerial photographs of Belleville, Wellington, Picton, Tweed, Stirling and the open pit mine at Marmora. Photographs of aircraft, including a replica of the 'Spirit of St. Louis', which visited Belleville in 1977 or 1978.
Photographs taken during the construction of the Community Archives space inside the Belleville Public Library building. Include photographs of the former location of the Community Archives at 154 Cannifton Road, Cannifton, and the physical move of archival materials and shelving from the old building to the new facility.
