Photographs of members of the Rodgers family of Deseronto, Ontario. Some photographs were taken in Belleville. Most are unidentified, but they include Thomas, Robert and Georgie and one man in a Salvation Army uniform.
Photographs are principally of staff and patrons of the Deseronto Public Library and were apparently taken by staff of The Quinte Scanner newspaper. Other images include staff of Deseronto Public School and photographs of buildings in Deseronto, Ontario.
Administrative materials including account books, annual reports and other records from the congregation of the Deseronto United Church. The church (on the northeast corner of Fourth and Thomas Streets) was closed and sold in October 2020.
Printed card produced by BCIVS 2000 campaign with a reproduction of an artwork called "East Side, West Side" by Eve Lucy, which was donated to BCIVS 2000 by Annetta Green. The card has been annotated with the names of the Belleville buildings featured in the painting:
Collection principally comprises research notes, newspaper clippings, promotional publications and postcards relating to the history of the town of Deseronto, Ontario. It also includes a file of materials relating to a voyage on the Empress of Scotland ship in 1956.
