Biographical history

James Allan Smith was born in Beaverton, Ontario on Jan 23 1922. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force between 1942 and 1945 and was a prisoner of war from July 1944 to May 1945. After the war he saw service with the Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment between 1955 and 1965. He worked for the Provincial Ministry of Revenue in the assessment departments of the City of Belleville and the Town of Trenton, retiring from Trenton in 1986. He died on 29 July 2013.
