Scrapbook compiled by Ida May (Boyce) Mather in 1931, using a copy of ABC of Bee Culture.

A series of 34 student assignments featuring transcripts of interviews with people who experienced the Great Depression in Hastings County, Ontario. One interview was with a veteran of the Second World War.

The fonds consists of 3 boxes of textual records and graphic material about the Ruttan family and Maud Ruttan Way (1889-1952) of Wooler, Ontario, in particular. Includes; diaries, photos, memorial cards, letters, Albert College items, and financial letters.

Collection includes three files:
1) Six early 20th century photographs of women, one identified as Ethel Shampagne of Peterborough, 1902; news clipping about the death of Dr. Sam Cronk in March 1974
2) Federation of Women Teachers' Associations of Ontario application and salary scale; 34 postcards of Belleville, Sandbanks, Foxboro, Stirling; one postcard of Olga Nethersole
