Lloyd Parker was born in 1937. He graduated from Queen's University in 1958 with a degree in Engineering Physics. He worked as on Ontario Land Surveyor (O.L.S.). He married Wendy Stewart on May 4, 1974. He died in Perth, Ontario on May 3, 2014.

Curry Bishop was born at Niagara on the Lake in 1931, to parents Harry (Doc) Bishop and Viola Curry. Curry graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Toronto. He soon became an Ontario Land Surveyor, a Canadian Land Surveyor, and completed post graduate work in planning. He was employed in Haliburton in the surveying and development business. He later became president of the Kawartha-Haliburton region of Ontario Land Surveyors. Curry is married to Aldyth and they have three children.

Frank Chester McKergow was born on January 10, 1912 at Waterloo, Quebec, Canada. He attended University of Bishops’ College in Lennoxville, Quebec and subsequently the Royal Military College and Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. McKergow enlisted in the Governor General’s Foot Guards, later the 21st Canadian Armoured Regiment, and travelled overseas in October 1942. He saw action in Holland, Belgium and Germany. He returned to Canada in January 1946. McKergow studied surveying and eventually joined the Department of Lands and Forests, now the Ministry of Natural Resources, as an Ontario Land Surveyor. His main task was to survey base and meridian lines in the far northwest of Ontario.
In 1964 he became Supervisor of Crown Surveys, retiring 11 years later in 1975. His wife was Hazel Pitt Burton. He died on August 18th 2008 at Bolton, Ontario. He was 96.

William Robert Aylsworth was born in Ernestown Township, in the county of Lennox and Addington, Ontario on September 15, 1836. He grew up on a farm and was educated in Newburgh, Ontario. At 18 years old, he was employed as a school teacher but later studied surveying. He was articled to A.B. Perry for three years before successfully receiving his certifications on November 8, 1861. In September of 1863, William married Christianna Herchmer, the daughter of Col. John Herchmer. For five years he surveyed private and government land. He was then employed by the Rathburn company for 25 years as a surveyor. In 1871, he was Reeve of Mill Point [Deseronto] and in 1871, 1881 and 1893 Warden of Hastings County. He died in Belleville on April 22, 1909.

William Spence Clarke was a photographer in Belleville, Ontario. He died on 15th January 1944.

William Spence Clarke, Trent Road, Belleville, died in the Kingston General Hospital early this Saturday morning after an illness of seven weeks' duration.
The late Mr. Clarke, who was in his 78th year, was born in Campbellford and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clarke. Fifty years ago he came to reside in Belleville and for a considerable time he was a partner with the late H. K. Smith, the firm being widely known as Smith & Clarke, Photographers. Later he entered business on his own account and except for a short time during which he lived in California, he carried on a successful business in this city. He stood high in his profession as a photographic artist.
To many friends in Belleville and elsewhere the death of W. Spence Clarke has brought much regret. He was well known in the city and district and was highly esteemed. In religion he was a member of Bridge Street United Church and fraternally he was a life member of Moira Lodge No. 11 A.F. & A.M.: Moira Chapter No. 7 R.A.M. and King Baldwin Preceptory No. 6.
Surviving him are his wife, the former Agnes Campbell; two brother, Mr. Jamieson Clarke, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Mr. James Clarke, Los Angeles, California.

Harold Thurgood was born in Manchester, England in 1902, the son of Charles Thurgood and Edith (Dawe). He arrived in Canada in 1921 as a farmer and married Louie Taylor in Belleville, Ontario, in 1933. He died on 14 February 1975.

Albert Smallfield was born in Hackney, London, England on 31 January 1826, the child of George Smallfield, a printer, and Rebecca (formerly Stone). In the 1871 census he was living in Madoc, Ontario and working as an editor and proprietor. He died in Renfrew, Ontario, on 16 November 1902.

Samuel George Retallack was born in Cobourg, Ontario, the child of Samuel Retallack and Jane (Hicks). He married Annie Phillips in Belleville on 24 January 1877. He died in Carleton, Ontario on 17 September 1930.

William Van Tassel was a Wesleyan Methodist farmer who lived in Sidney Township, Hastings County, Ontario.

Thomas Samuel Carman was born in Prince Edward County, Ontario, on 24 October 1840. He was the proprietor of The Daily Ontario and The Weekly Chronicle until he sold the newspapers to William Herbert Morton and James Owen Herity in early 1910. Carman also operated the Carman Opera House in Belleville, Ontario. He died on 13 April 1926 at 228 Dundas Street East, Belleville.

James Owen Herity was born 16 April 1870 in Huntingdon Township, Ontario, the son of Samuel Herity and Christianne (Wood). He was the editor of the Daily Ontario newspaper in Belleville from 1910 to 1921 with his brother-in-law, W. H. Morton, and subsequently became the president of the Belleville Chamber of Commerce until his death on 14 December 1945.

Charles Mott was born on November 2, 1897. In the First World War he served as a gunner with the CEF, starting May 7, 1918. He was on his way to Siberia when the armistice was signed and was demobilized on April 24, 1919.

He served as City Engineer for the City of Belleville from 1929-1958. He then became the city planning engineer from 1958-1961. In his final years with the city he served as planning director and technical assistant with the Belleville & Suburban Planning Board before his retirement in 1960. He spent a total of 45 years with the City of Belleville.
He married his wife Carmileta Florence Mastin on April 30, 1923. He died at the age of 71 years on May 17, 1969.
