Biographical history
Joseph was born in 1863 to parents Timm Joseph Chalifour and Adelaide Lafontaine Chalifour in Rimouski, Québec, Canada. He was baptized at Cathédrale St-Germain the same year.
He married Marie Angelina Labelle at Carleton, Ontario on February 27, 1889.
He died in 1953 and was buried in Ottawa, Ontario.
