Biographical history

Curry Bishop was born at Niagara on the Lake in 1931, to parents Harry (Doc) Bishop and Viola Curry. Curry graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Toronto. He soon became an Ontario Land Surveyor, a Canadian Land Surveyor, and completed post graduate work in planning. He was employed in Haliburton in the surveying and development business. He later became president of the Kawartha-Haliburton region of Ontario Land Surveyors. Curry is married to Aldyth and they have three children.

Lands & Forests.” The area includes; Lots # 1 to 17 on Hay Bay south shore, being Lot # 26, Concession VII & Lots # 26, 27 & 28, Concession VIII, Township of Herschel. Surveyed by H. Curry Bishop, O. L. S. and signed June 1, 1966.
