Biographical history

Michael Joseph McAlpine was born on January 13, 1924. Between the years of 1942-1945 he was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). Throughout his non-military career he worked as an Ontario Land Surveyor (O.L.S.). His wife was Mary Delphine (nee Steenburg) McAlpine (1934– 2013). Michael McAlpine died on August 12, 2001 at an age of 77 years. He was buried in the Our Lady Of Mercy Parish Cemetery at Bancroft, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada.

Scope and content

A certified reproduction of the "Subdivision of Part of Lot # 2, Concession A, Township Faraday, County of Hastings.” The area surveyed includes; lots both sides of James Street, Oak Street and up to Monk Road. Surveyed by M. J. McAlpine, O. L. S. and signed August 3, 1954.

This copy was made in 1972 of plan #953, as registered in the Hastings Land Registry Office.
