This fonds was packed up in London, England by Sir Gilbert Parker in 1918. He left the papers to his brother, Harry Parker, and they were shipped to the USA by Harry's daughter, Kathleen.

The original shipment of materials included two pocket watches, a locket, a walking stick engraved with Sir Gilbert Parker's name and a bust of Parker's head. These materials have been transferred to Glanmore National Historic Site as Accession 017.014.001-005.
