History

Albert W. Scriven was born in Bristol, England on November 18, 1882, the son of James Scriven and Elizabeth Chech. He immigrated to Canada as a young man. He married Bertha Carter and spent most of his working life employed in a filtration plant and gas works in Belleville, Ontario. He attended Parkdale Baptist Church. Mr. Scriven died on April 19, 1976 in Belleville.
