Vermilyea, Nathaniel

This file contains a copy of the "Address and Presentation" made on 20-June-1918, gifting Nathaniel Vermilyea a grandfather clock on the occasion of the 42nd year celebration as Reeve of the Township of Thurlow. There is also a newspaper article, dated 23-December-1922 about the return of Nathaniel Vermilyea for the 48th time as Reeve.

Flint, Billa – Misc. 1864

File contains miscellaneous biographical information about Billa Flint (b. 1805 d. 1894) who owned lumber and saw mills in Bridgewater and became Mayor of Belleville 1866 and warden of the County of Hastings in 1873 and held other elected positions, he was appointed to the Senate by MacKenzie. Documents include: newspaper clippings, a directory of his businesses, and typed and written notes.
