Also contains a photocopied typescript of a draft chapter submitted for review in 1967 by Gerald E. Boyce concerning the history of mining in the Marmora area. Also present are two printed booklets entitled 'Bethlehem in Marmora' concerning the iron mining operations at Marmora and their shipping outlet at Picton Harbor.

Gatling Company owned the Gatling and Tuttle shafts at the Delora Mine, which were first opened by the Gatling Gold and Silver Mining company in 1873.
