Marmora & Lake Townships : certificate of election of reeves

File contains two manuscript cetificates of Reeve issued by the Clerk of Marmora and Lake Townships certifying the election of Hugh Jones as Reeve in 1871 and James Hamilton as Reeve in 1867. Also contains a manuscript memorial of the municipal council of Marmora and Lake Townships requesting funds for road improvement in 1871.

Marmora & Lake Townships : open letter to the electors, 1914

File contains a printed letter to the electors of Marmora and Lake Townships from Thomas Southworth, Vice President of Delora Mining and Eduction Co. encouraging voters to decide against the sale of liquor in Marmora and Lake Townships in 1914. Also contains several newspaper clippings regarding muncipal elections and finances, ca. 1956-1960.
