Plan of Rectification Survey of Madoc Township

A certified reproduction of a “Plan showing the Rectification Survey... of the Township of Madoc.” The area contained includes; northern lots #30, 31, 32 on concessions 1-11 (inclusive) in Madoc Township. Originally surveyed by Charles Fraser Aylsworth, P. L. S. and produced on March 18, 1891.

This reproduction was made on June 5, 1972 and approved by the Deputy Registrar.

Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe

The file contains a presentation at the Loyalist Dinner at Macaulay House, Picton on 19 June 2004. The subject of the presentation was Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe born 29 May 1883 in Madoc. Dr. Dafoe officiated the birth of the Dionne Quintuplets.

Madoc : O'Hara's pioneer home

File contains printed announcements and booklets concerning the opening of O'Hara's Mill Conservation Area in July 1957, the restoration of the property and the official opening of the pioneer house in July 1969. Also contains several newspaper clippings regarding the restoration of the pioneer home.
