Map of Town Plot in Thurlow Township

Map showing a sketch of a plot for a town (eastern Belleville) in front of Thurlow Township as of June 5th, 1812. By J. Ridout. Scale: 4 chains to an inch. Copied from original at the Archives of Ontario. Notation on map "Singleton's River, now the Moira" and location of McNabb's Mills and Myers's Mills shown. The name "Belleville" has been added at a later date.

Lot 4 Plan in Thurlow Township 1811

A map of a tract of land known as Lot # 4 in the 1st and 2nd Concessions of the Township of Thurlow in the Midland District of Upper Canada. Part of 428 acres purchased from Mississauga First Nations peoples. The total area was East and West of Moira River extending to the Bay of Quinte. By Grant, Surveyor General's Office York and Jos. Ridout, Surveyor General on September 6th, 1811. Scale: 20 chains to an inch.
