Belleville Fire 1879

File contains a c.1850 description of a fireman uniform and of activities of the fire department and men according to Mrs. Moodie, c.1851 petition by the residents of the upper part of town to form a separate fire company, c.1851 petition by G. & J. Brown to try and form a separate fire company, a brief history of the Belleville fire department, a newspaper clip of a fire at a cigar factory in Belleville, and a newspaper clip on the fire that destroyed Mr.Neilson's house.

A certified reproduction of the Plan of subdivision of Ketcheson Block, west half of Lot # 31 in 2nd Concession Sidney Township, into park lots of 5 acres each for Elijah Ketcheson. Surveyed by P.V. Elmore, P.L.S. in January of 1853.

This copy was made in 1972 of plan #49, as registered in the Hastings Land Registry Office.
