The float won second prize in the parade. On the float are nurses Joyce Lott (later Foster), Gwen Hart, Anne Crabbe and Doreen Dorland, with doctors McGreer, Winfield and Barfoot, staged as though performing an operation.

Collection includes materials relating to the career of Roy Miles Elbert Ward (1893-1979), a dentist who practiced in Belleville, Ontario for nearly 50 years. Includes a receipt from dentist B. G. Gilbert of Picton from 1890, a photograph of Wilma Aileen Seely (1910-2005, his second wife) as a baby, and Roy Ward's graduation photograph from the University of Toronto. Other items include a biography of Arthur Gowsell Ward (1914-1989) and various membership cards.
