Rawdon Township Council, 1957

File contains several newspaper clippings concerning the election of the Rawdon Township Council, and minutes of its meetings, 1957. Also present is a photocopied excerpt of the Hastings County Directory, 1860-1861, and 1864-1865 with statistics for Rawdon Township including names of property owners listing occupations, and location of properties by lot and concession number.

Thurlow Township : miscellaneous notes / by Mrs. Mary Plumpton

File contains manuscript notes by Mary Plumpton including lists of Thurlow Town Clerks, 1798-1846; transcripts of pages from an unidentified diary 1870-1872, and notes on individuals appearing in Plumpton's work, The Rambling River. Also present is a photocopied printed excerpt from the 1879 Hastings County Directory with entries for Canifton[sic] listing residents by name and occupation.

File contains several manuscript petitions by residents of Tudor and Lake Township for road clearances and the opening of roads in the townships. Also present are Hastings County Council resolutions approving surveys for roads in Tudor , Limerick and Cashel Townships in June, 1870.
