Florrie Sexsmith earned $1.00 per week by writing a column for the Deseronto Post newspaper. They include advice, history lessons, decorating tips, travelogues and recipes.
Five copies of photographs showing Louise Fitchett's house in Deseronto and Ken Melhoff as a young boy, c.1944-1946. Photocopy of an article from Our Canada magazine by Carolyn Lori about Joseph Laverture of Green Street, Deseronto, and his miniature cannons. Lavature was at one time the projectionist at Naylor's theatre in Deseronto.
