Prince Edward County - The White Chapel

File contains: a copy of Rev. Darius Dunham's Handwriting on the first Picton Class Paper (circa. 1793); a newspaper article from The Ontario Intelligencer, dated 9 June 1959 titled "Plaque Unveiled to Mark "White Chapel" as Historic Church Site in P.E. County and (2) original programs from the 150th Anniversary Service held 7 June 1959.

Trenton Community Centre

File contains a number of newspaper articles about the Trenton Community Centre, Also known as; Trenton Community Gardens (1958), Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens (present). These articles provide a detailed history of this arena that has held many events for the local community, ranging from; bingo to basketball.

Roblin's Mill

File contains a newspaper article concerning the relocation of the historic Roblin's Mill which was originally located In Ameliasburgh Township, Prince Edward County, to Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto in May, 1967, as an example of a typical pioneer water-powered mill.

Trenton Education

File contains a typescript history of schools and education in Trenton from 1800-ca.1900 by Andrew S. Shurie. Includes brief profiles of Trenton teachers and administrators. Also present are several newspaper articles from 1956-1959 concerning school additions and consolidations, and the planning of a technical school in Trenton in 1959.
