An original hand-painted, paper set of floor plans. The plan was drawn in 1873 for L. W. Yeoman & Company's drug store. The store was located on the corner of Front and Market Streets. The drawings cover the plans for the foundation, ground, second and third floors. Scale: 8 feet to one inch. Published by H. Belden & Company. John Forin built the building.

The display features a range of Rexall products, including: Liver Salts, Rubbing Oil, Baby Laxative, Rexall Orderlies, Celery & Iron Tonic, Beef Iron & Wine, Cherry Bark and Dyspepsia Tablets.

McKeown was born in Belleville in 1871. He was the son of John McKeown senior (a boot and shoe merchant) and Mary Bullen. He married Caroline (Carrie) Lingham on October 5th, 1898 and they had one daughter, Helen, born in 1901. In 1921 the family were living at 16 Alexander Street, Belleville, with a maid called Florence Parks.

McKeown's Drug Store was at this location in Front Street from c.1915 to the late 1960s, when it was taken over as The Coach Room, part of Woodley's Furs. This photograph was found by members of the Woodley family in the basement of the building.

A photocopy of a map of the Town of Trenton, circa 1915. The map features advertisements for local businesses, important sites, industries and many railways and stations.

An original map produced for the Trenton Electric & Water Co. Limited, concerning their water mains, towers and substations within the Township of Thurlow. However, the map also features railways, roads and land boundaries. Circa 1910. Scale: 50 chains = 1 inch. Map composed by Smith, Kerry and Chace Engineers located in Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.

A map showing a plan for the Belleville Harbour. The total area stretches from south Front Street to the Ponton Plan. Published by John T. Ransom on May 19th, 1947. The map features field notes of survey of lands, marshes and Bay of Quinte waters. Scale: 1':100'.

Part of an unpublished history of Ontario breweries, covering breweries in Hastings County.

Photograph shows the Pasmore pharmacy at the northwest corner of St. George and Thomas Streets in Deseronto, Ontario. The owner of this property was Dr. William Pasmore.

The photographs are arranged by subject matter and cover activities in and around the town of Deseronto, Ontario. The majority date from the late nineteenth century and many depict the lumber-related industries of the Rathbun Company in Deseronto. There are also photographs of school groups, churches, railways, First World War airfields and portraits of Deseronto citizens.

This file contains an essay titled "Four Decades of Radio, Television and Electronics" written in June 1986 and gives a brief history of the Belleville based business Stewart-Warner Alemite. The essay was published as part of a supplement to the Intelligencer celebrating 65 years of the firm, where the authors are identified as F. C. Ethier and S. D. Hagerman.

Margaret Nichols discusses running the Quinte Book Shop in Belleville, and downtown Belleville.
