Woodley family and business materials
Photographs and press clippings (mainly reproductions) relating to the Woodley family and their fur business in Belleville. The store on Front Street was established by George Thomas Woodley (1872-1948) in 1904 and closed between 1986 and 1992. George's son Russell, grandson Douglas and great-grandson Daniel ran the store. Photographs include:

Deeds for properties in Thurlow Township
Deeds and mortgages for land in Thurlow Township, Ontario. The properties are 50 acres of the north half of lot 10 in the fourth concession and 11 acres of the west half of lot 10 in the fifth concession. The lands were owned by members of the Read/Reed and Thrasher families. Includes a reproduction of a parchment deed of 1811 of 100 acres of the north half of lot 10 in the fourth concession, transferred by Samuel Reed to John Thrasher.
Materials relating to Santa's Village, Belleville, Ontario
Two photographs, a colouring book, a Quinte Weekly News newspaper of 22 December 1987 and 'What's Happening' magazine November/December 1993. The publications have features on the 'Santa's Village' Christmas display of Bruce and Marjorie Nickle of Marsh Street, Belleville, Ontario, set up in memory of Billy Foster. One photograph shows a snow-covered toadstool house and two gnomes, the other shows the 'Santa's Workshop' structure made by students of the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf.
