St. Mark's Anglican Church is visible in the background. Stan worked at Gibbard's in Napanee and later was a police officer in Deseronto for five years.

Photocopy of a photograph of John Freeman (1836-1905) and his wife, Ann Naphan (1824-1923). At one time they owned the Arlington Hotel in Deseronto, Ontario.

Two negative-holders with annotations by Harold McMurrich Rathbun for negatives he took between 1907 and 1914, with loose negatives from 1920-1940. Most of the photographs were taken in and around Deseronto, Ontario, but they also include photographs taken on a journey by rail to Alberta in 1907.

Scanned copies of 25 photographs taken during Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment training exercises in Petawawa during the Second World War, with transcription of notes made on the reverse of the photographs.

Scanned copies of five photographs collected by Flying Officer Lawrence, an instructor at one of the Royal Flying Corps/Royal Air Force pilot training camps in Deseronto, Ontario, during the First World War.
