The man and woman in the photographs have been identified by the donor as Winnifred Clark [the donor's mother] and her brother-in-law, Harold Thurgood. The child is likely to be one of Harold’s daughters, Barbara or Marilyn.

Printed Draft for a Building By-Law to be adapted for use by Smaller Municipalities in the Province of Ontario, published in December 1952, with a covering letter of 2 April 1953 addressed to Mr. M. G. Wright, Building Inspector of the Township of Thurlow. The draft by-law has annotations in pencil. Also a letter dated 11 March 1955 from the Ontario Department of Planning and Development about the National Building Code in reltaion to municipal building by-laws.
