Victoria Gardens Subdivision in the City of Belleville

A certified reproduction of the "Victoria Gardens Subdivision - part of east half of Lot # 10, Concession 1, now [the] City of Belleville. Owner- Lambert-Rollins Construction Ltd.” The area includes; north of Victoria Avenue, Lots # 1 to 70 on Rollins Drive and Clifford Crescent. Surveyed by John Thomas Ransom, O. L. S. and signed October 17, 1960.

Tyendinaga - Mill Point Incorporation - 1871

File contains original petition to incorporate Mill Point into an "Incorporated Village" 17 May1871, signed by Edward Wilkes Rathbun and 100 residents of the village. There are also petitions of protest from residents north of the York Road [Highway 2] who did not want to be part of the village. File also includes a plan of the proposed boundaries Mill Point (Map M440-1446).

Tudor Township, 1859 : petition for separation from Madoc

File contains a manuscript signed petition from landholders in the Township of Tudor to the County Council of the County of Hastings seeking administrative separation from the Township of Madoc, whose council had responsibility for Tudor. Also present is a by-law issued by the County of Hastings Council in 1859 enacting the separation of Tudor Township from the Township of Madoc.

Tudor & Lake Townships : petitions

File contains several manuscript petitions by residents of Tudor and Lake Township for road clearances and the opening of roads in the townships. Also present are Hastings County Council resolutions approving surveys for roads in Tudor , Limerick and Cashel Townships in June, 1870.
