Lifeboat Station at Consecon, 1898

File contains a letter dated 22-February-1969 from the Canadian Archaeological Divers Society and addressed to Public Archives of Canada, requesting access to records from a lifeboat station situated at Consecon, on the east side of Wellers Bay from 1898 to 1918. No response recorded.

Trenton : Ferry license, 1879; Bay of Quinte Navigation Company

File contains a manuscript license issued by the Province of Ontario on 13 October 1879 approving the operation of a ferry from Sidney Township in Hastings County to Ameliasburgh Township in Prince Edward County. Also present are two printed, completed bills of sale, dated 5 November 1880 transferring 64 shares in the steam paddler, Mary Ethel, built at Trenton, to the Bay of Quinte Navigation Company (Limited).

Roblin's Mill

File contains a newspaper article concerning the relocation of the historic Roblin's Mill which was originally located In Ameliasburgh Township, Prince Edward County, to Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto in May, 1967, as an example of a typical pioneer water-powered mill.
