The float won second prize in the parade. On the float are nurses Joyce Lott (later Foster), Gwen Hart, Anne Crabbe and Doreen Dorland, with doctors McGreer, Winfield and Barfoot, staged as though performing an operation.

Also present were MP Ryan Williams, MPP Todd Smith, Mayor Mitch Panciuk, Warden Rick Phillips, Rihanna Harris, and Collip Committee members Richard Hughes and Ian Sullivan.
