File contains newspaper clippings of works from Anthony Lassing's Scrap Book. Anthony Lassing was a self-taught artist. He was born in Amsterdam in 1928, but later moved to Belleville, Ontario, and was a founding member of Gallery 121, also in Belleville, Ontario.
File contains eight original uncancelled stamps in one-half to five cent denominations which commemorate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897, and two half-cent Canadian stamps from 1870 bearing the image of Queen Victoria. Also present is a Globe and Mail newspaper article, 7 February 1970, discussing the value of a rare 12-penny Canadian stamp, and an Intelligencer article, ca. 1969 regarding the annual Quinte Philatelic Exhibition of the Quinte Stamp Club.
