The publications have features on the 'Santa's Village' Christmas display of Bruce and Marjorie Nickle of Marsh Street, Belleville, Ontario, set up in memory of Billy Foster. One photograph shows a snow-covered toadstool house and two gnomes, the other shows the 'Santa's Workshop' structure made by students of the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf.

There are receipts for medical supplies, tax receipts, and personal receipts such as household bills and car repairs. Many of the medical supply invoices are for products shipped by mail from Toronto or Montreal. Some of these companies in Toronto include: J.F Hartz Co. Limited, Ingram Bell, Ethical Drug Products Limited, and from Montreal Frank W. Horner Limited, Manufacturing Chemists. The majority of the receipts are from local businesses in Belleville and surrounding areas such as: F.W Jeffery Harware Merchant, Midland, Ontario, F.S Anderson Co. Genuine Scranton Coal, W.H Lattimer Druggist Belleville, Sprague the Cleaner, Greenleaf's Garage Machine Shop Foundry Electrical Contractors, R. This fonds contains a variety of documents relating to the Belleville Fire Department which include official policies relating to health and safety, arbitration, indemnity agreements with surrounding communities, uniform specifications, certificates and cards, labour-related issues, scientific studies, records of the city of Belleville and the Belleville Professional Fire Fighters Association in addition to newspaper clippings related to the fire department dated from 1907 to 2001.

The minutes record applications for membership of the society, payments of bills and notes of people who addressed the group. There are some loose papers inside the volume, mainly applications for admission, with reports of character committees on the back.
