Lake family bible and The White House Cook Book

Bible which belonged to Charles W. Lake and Ann Janet McEwen of Foxboro (married 28 December 1870) and 'The White House Cook Book', published in 1905. Bible was printed by James Spencer, Toronto, and includes 'A Pictorial history of the Books of the Bible' by Rev. Washington B. Erben and the illustrated 'Comprehensive Dictionary of the Bible' by Rev. Alfred Nevin. It includes genealogical information about the Lake family of Foxboro: James Carford Lake (b.1871), Etta May Lake (b.1872), John Wesley Lake (1878-1880) and Mary Edna Lake (b.1880).
The bible contained the following items:
1) Two newspaper cuttings with poems about loss of a child: 'My Little Boy that Died' and 'Dear Little Hands'
2) Newspaper cutting of evidence given by Paul Deshane in the case of the drunkenness of William G. Simmons, 1 July 1887
3) Printed 'South Hastings Sabbath School Association Program of the Eight Annual Convention' held at the Methodist Church in Foxboro on 15 October 1902
4) Printed Order of Service for Canadian Sunday Schools, Sunday 27 June 1915
Cook book contained 'Selected Recipes for use with Cox's Sparkling Gelatine'
