This collection comprises some 5,400 vertical files of materials gathered by the Hastings County Historical Society. They cover a wide range of subjects and were received from a variety of different sources, not always recorded.

The collection includes original materials, newspaper clippings, secondary histories and copies.

Addington Road

File contains newspaper clips on Donald Perry recounting old days of North Addington Road, and a clip on Peter Perry and his c.1806 document of a survey of Addington and Lennox County by H.F.Walling.

Belleville Veterans' Association notices 1901-1909

File contains two notifications from the Veterans' Association: a 1901 invitation to the Annual Meeting of the Veterans' Association which included discussion on grants of land, and a 1909 invitation to the funeral of Mr. Thomas Gibson, who served with the 1st Belleville Rifles at Aultsville during the Fenian Raid of 1866.
