Twiddy's Grocery Store - Moira Street, Belleville

The file contains a newspaper article from the Intelligencer, dated July 17, 2004 and titled "Remember When - Bygone era when corner stores dotted community", about the family owned Twiddy's Grocery store at 156 Moira Street West in Belleville. It was opened by Paul and Janet Twiddy in 1913 and was passed to their daughter Phyllis who married Alex Burley.
