File contains a c.1886 letter from from W.N.Ponton, and a c.1886 proposed plans for exhibition grounds sent to the Mayor and members of the corporation of the city of Belleville.
File contains newspaper clips from c.1957 on A.H. Ketcheson honored for 20 years of service in tax department c.1960, Minister of Public works Robert H. Winter stating new public works building to be underway by c.1956, the federal post office building construction, 400,000$ estimate for the post office building in Madoc and Battawa, federal government offices move to move to new building c.1960, and other miscellaneous newspaper clips on federal buildings and construction.

File contains envelopes used to send in tenders for the lower bridge project c.1858, motions to the Municipal Council of the County of Hastings County, and tenders sent to the County of Hastings for consideration re lower bridge construction job.
