Report on the proposed closure of Belleville Collegiate Institute and Vocational School, prepared for the Accommodations Committee of the Hastings County Board of Education.
Collection includes photographs taken by Howard Aselstine, mainly of floods in Belleville, Ontario, in 1918, and a file of materials relating to the 50th reunion of the class of 1930-1931 of King George Public School in Belleville (held on 20 June 1981), compiled by Dorothy Aitchison, one of the organizers.
Collection comprises: 1) Four reproduction photographs annotated by Maurice Callaghan, showing the schooner Dundee, the old Grand Junction Railway dock as it appeared in 1911 (one photograph shows City Engineer William Lindsey) and a group of construction workers standing at the end of the government dock after its completion [1916]. 2) Poster for the CFB Trenton 50th anniversary air show in 1981

Photographs are principally of staff and patrons of the Deseronto Public Library and were apparently taken by staff of The Quinte Scanner newspaper. Other images include staff of Deseronto Public School and photographs of buildings in Deseronto, Ontario.
