Organized by Barbara Brenton after losing her brother in 1991, the committee held events from AIDS walks, candlelight vigils, World AIDS Day events, and fundraising events. In partnership with the Eastminster United Church and the Rev. Ed Bentley, annual vigils were held from 1994 to 2004. Brenton left the committee in 2005.
