This file contains a letter, dated 3-June-1969, from the Norfolk Historical Society in Simcoe Ontario looking for information about Joseph Van Norman of Normandale, Ontario and a possible connection to Romaine Van Norman who lived in Belleville (born USA). There is also a newspaper article titled "Know Your Antiques" about the 'Royal Alexandra' Ultimate in Canadian Cook Stove, which appears to have been patented by Joseph Van Norman.
Scans and digital photographs of images relating to Dr Elgin Vandervoort and his family, taken from an album belonging to his family and loaned for the purpose. Include pictures of May Vandervoort and her husband, Hugh Rothwell, who met her when he was installing electricity to Deseronto. They married on September 1st, 1917 in Deseronto.

This file contains a newspaper article, dated 22-November-1968, about the 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Velleman, natives of Hilversum, Holland. The Velleman's were the founders of the Ontario Homes for Mentally Retarded Infants (sic) incorporated in 1954.

This collection represents materials originating or used by W.C. Mikel. The first folder contains three speeches delivered during his time as Police Magistrate and Mayor. The next series of folders contains references and sources for his volume The City of Belleville History. The second folder contains correspondence regarding the book. Folders three through ten contain the notes Mikel used for each chapter. Folder eleven contains the plans for “Quinte City" and documents from the Town Planning Institute among others. Folder twelve contains unattributed reference material and general research for the book. Folder thirteen contains Mikel's collection of material for the 1924 United Empire Loyalist celebration which was held during his first term as Mayor. Folder fourteen contains Mrs. Mikel's obituary, a letter from Mikel to the Bank of Montreal, and a letterhead from the period he served as Police Magistrate. Folder fifteen contains three copies of his book, Godlove Mikel. The sixtenth folder contains a variety of newspaper clippings.

Contains correspondence from family members, archaeological articles, museum donation forms, and newspaper clippings about Wallbridge & Clarke Grocers. The records also contain stamped documents certifying Thomas Campbell Wallbridge as an Attorney. Materials by Lewis Wallbridge, W.H. Wallbridge, and a cousin named Frank are also featured in the records.
A map of mineral deposits in Marmora was originally part of this collection, but is held separately.
