Lettie Howard is the only person in Deseronto in the 1901 census with that first name. She married Robert Howard in Belleville on 10 April 1894.

The picture is undated, but E. I. Gale was Principal of the school between 1922 and 1926. There is a high overlap of team members with the 1926-1927 team photograph, so this may be the 1925-1926 hockey team.
