File contains manuscript correspondence originating from and received by William Robertson regarding lands at River Trent in Murray Township. Also present is a completed, printed approval of the Board of Endowment Office, Toronto, of an application for purchase of lot 28, concession 3, Township of Murray by William Robertson, 29 August 1851.

Royal Tour 1959

File contains a printed souvenir supplement to the Toronto Daily Star entitled “The Queen & the Seaway,” regarding the opening of St. Lawrence Seaway and the upcoming royal visit by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Also present are newspaper clippings regarding the Royal visit including an article from The Ontario Intelligencer, 27 July 1959 concerning the Trenton stop of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip during the royal tour.

File contains a number of newspaper photos from various dates and titled "Picture Peeks Into The Past", these are pictures of boats in and on the Trent River and about boating in Trenton.

Trenton : Ferry license, 1879; Bay of Quinte Navigation Company

File contains a manuscript license issued by the Province of Ontario on 13 October 1879 approving the operation of a ferry from Sidney Township in Hastings County to Ameliasburgh Township in Prince Edward County. Also present are two printed, completed bills of sale, dated 5 November 1880 transferring 64 shares in the steam paddler, Mary Ethel, built at Trenton, to the Bay of Quinte Navigation Company (Limited).
