Desjardins Concerts

The sub-series contains programs, newspaper clippings, biographies, and flyers from the Desjardins Concerts. It was previously called the Leona Riggs Concerts of the Americas, which the QAC and Jeunesses Musicales co-produced. In 2003, the event was renamed the Desjardins Concerts after the new sponsor for the touring program.

Festival of Trees

This sub-series contains accounting records, sponsorship information, agendas, newspaper clippings, media releases, programs, invitations and reports from the Festival of Trees event. Festival of Trees was a leading QAC fundraiser in partnership with The Lung Association. There were multiple events operating in the holiday season during the Festival of Trees: auctions, fashion shows, galas, children’s activities and more.

Two Weeks in May

This sub-series contains artist biographies, newspaper clippings, flyers, draft brochures, promotional material, and reports relating to the Two Weeks in May event, which became known as the Spring Focus on the Arts in 2000. The event featured numerous artistic performances and showcases of visual arts, music, dance, writing and theatre.

This sub-series contains minutes, speeches, correspondence, newspaper clippings, guides, and reports from Emerging 83 and Conference 95.
