File contains a manuscript paper entitled “The Grand Trunk Railway Strike at Belleville, 1876-1877 : a brief outline,” presented by Gerald E. Boyce at a winter, 1965 meeting of the Belleville Rotary Club. The paper discusses the strike action by trainmen and the dispatch of police and companies of the local battalion to deal with strikers and their supporters.

File contains a c.1877 copy of a telegram to Col.Powell in Ottawa, report of the Queen's Own suppressing railway mob in Belleville, c.1877 copy of telegram from Belleville City Council to Lt.Col. Durie of Toronto re military presence required to suppress uprising at Grand Trunk railway, and other miscellaneous documents on the c.1877 railway uprising of workers in Belleville.

Also featuring sponsored hotels, lines under construction and offline traffic offices. The total system mileage is 25,000.

A blueprint plan showing land required by the Canadian Northern Ontario Railway for a proposed right-of-way on Lots 1-2A, Dundas Street, Belleville. The property belonging to Mary E. Ponton is coloured in pink and amounts to 1.05 acres. The plan was signed on October 23, 1911 at Toronto.

Items donated in 2011 include a photograph of Oran Tripp at Trenton, snapshots of the Rose family of Millbridge, a Model T at Bannockburn in 1911 and three C.N.R. engines at Bannockburn in 1912.

A reproduction of a map of the Township of Monteagle in the County of Hastings. The map features railway lines, Concessions & Lots with the names of residents. The original map was published by the Quebec Department of Lands on July 30, 1862 and revised in 1906.
