Rebellion Losses Claim #94 : Peter Davidson, Sidney
Files contains a manuscript statement of damages submitted to the Provincial Government in 1845 by Peter Davidson for damages incurred while imprisoned in December 1837. Also contains a manuscript letter from Billa Flint, J.P. to Peter Davidson and Aaron Hearns dated 5 May 1838 dismissing a case against them.

The file contains a number of newspaper clippings from the 1930s about local residents and buildings. Also contains a piece of writing titled "The History of Friend Andrews told by Alexander Andrews (1959). The item is dated 20 January 1961 and is a genealogy of the Andrews family.
File contains memories of the history of the School for the Deaf, Belleville being turned into an RCAF technical training facility during WWII, written by J.W. Jack Hodgson.

File contains manuscript notes by Fred Bradley on the militia called out by Lt Col Bonnycastle in Hastings totaling 1668 men and 108 officers divided into the Mohawks 1 st Hastings Light Dragoons, 2nd and 3rd Prince Edward (Infantry), Belleville Rifles (Infantry), and the 2nd Hastings.

The file contains the original discharge paper for Private George Barlow from Captain Wellesly Richey's Independent Company of Militia. He served from 1 May 1839 to 30 April 1840. Dated 1 May 1840 and signed in Belleville.
The Gilbert Parker collection consists of three folders. The first contains pieces of correspondence, primarily to Col. W.N. Ponton. Amoung the items he sent to Ponton were two propogandist pamphlets by Reverend H.M. Gwatkin and William Archer respectively. The second folder contains two of his publications, of which the poem "Was it Some Golden Star" was put to music by Edward Elgar, and two publications directed towards the United States with the aim of bringing them into World War I on the British side. The final folder contains items from the Gilbert Parker Banquet in 1902 with items including a menu and an invitation.
