The publications have features on the 'Santa's Village' Christmas display of Bruce and Marjorie Nickle of Marsh Street, Belleville, Ontario, set up in memory of Billy Foster. One photograph shows a snow-covered toadstool house and two gnomes, the other shows the 'Santa's Workshop' structure made by students of the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf.
File contains a letter regarding the opening of the Ontario Institute of Education for the Blind in 1872, and a form for the Ontario School for the Deaf to provide information regarding the number of students and the circumstances of the parents.
File contains three booklets published in 1970 celebrating the Centennial anniversary of the opening of the Ontario School of the Deaf in Belleville, and a list from the Outdoor Activities Sub-Committee of their contributions to planning the Centennial year.
File contains a “Testimonial” from 1906 to Mr. Mellhaw for his work at the Ontario School of the Deaf (O.S.D.) from the staff, a poster advertising the 1960 production of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at O.S.D., and newspaper clippings from 1962-1964 about O.S.D. such as building a new trades school, and appointing a new superintendent.
