Plan of Diseronca (Deseronto)

1972 copy of an 1837 plan of 'Diseronca' (now Deseronto, Ontario), surveyed by G.J. Clapp on August 26th, 1837. The plan is Plan 43 of the plans registered in the Hastings County Registry. This copy is held by the Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County (Map #143 - reference M430-1763).

The north-south streets shown on the right side of the map are, from right to left, First Street, Second Street, Third Street and Fourth Street. Near the end of Fourth Street a wharf is marked on the map. This is Culbertson's Wharf.

Tyendinaga - Mill Point Incorporation - 1871

File contains original petition to incorporate Mill Point into an "Incorporated Village" 17 May1871, signed by Edward Wilkes Rathbun and 100 residents of the village. There are also petitions of protest from residents north of the York Road [Highway 2] who did not want to be part of the village. File also includes a plan of the proposed boundaries Mill Point (Map M440-1446).

A blueprint plan showing land required by the Canadian Northern Ontario Railway for a proposed right-of-way on Lots 1-2A, Dundas Street, Belleville. The property belonging to Mary E. Ponton is coloured in pink and amounts to 1.05 acres. The plan was signed on October 23, 1911 at Toronto.

The Moira River East and Taylor's lot borders the Meyers' property. Dated May 20, 1829. Scale 2 chains to an inch.

The total area spans from Quebec to Lake Huron and from Lake Michigan to New Hampshire then south to Pennsylvania in the U.S.A. A certified reproduction of the "Plan of part of Bleecker Estate, part of west half of Lot # 7 in 1st Concession Thurlow.” The Estate lay north of the Grand Trunk Railway being a re-subdivision of Lots # 8, 9, 10, 11 & 13. Surveyed by Evans and Bolger, P. L. S. Plan registered February 27, 1863.

This copy was made in 1972 of plan #203, as registered in the Hastings Land Registry Office.
